  4. DoDOS is a program which allows you to run DOS applications which won't
  5. normally run from Windows.  It achieves this by creating a temporary
  6. batch file using commands supplied on the DoDOS command line, shutting
  7. down Windows, running the batch file, then restarting Windows.
  8.  
  9. It can be used in a number of situations, but I expect the most common
  10. will be for running games which generally don't run very well from
  11. within Windows.

  22. This version of DoDOS was released to the world on Tuesday the 9th
  23. of November, 1993

  28. The whole program has been rewritten to clean up the code.  More
  29. imporantly for end-users are the two new switches.
  30.  
  31. The -f switch allows DoDOS to read the commands from a file instead
  32. of having them specified on the command-line.  This is mostly for use
  33. with my upcoming product DoFloppy.

  35. The -i switch allows DoDOS to read the commands from the DODOS.INI file
  36. instead of having them specified on the command-line.  This is the way
  37. I recommend people use the program.

  39. The old syntax (placing the commands directly on the command-line) is
  40. still supported, so if you're upgrading, you can just copy this new
  41. version of DoDOS straight over the old one with no problems.
